Waver is operated by Aerosoul Technologies LLP (“we”, “our”, “us”), the entity responsible for the personal data described below. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our voice-to-text application. You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@waverai.in.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and a securely hashed password.

Audio Recordings: Audio recordings are processed in real-time for transcription. Recordings may be stored on our servers if you choose to save them for playback.

Notes & Content: Your transcribed and rewritten notes are stored securely on our servers to enable sync across devices.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage analytics such as feature usage, session duration, and error reports to improve the app.

We use your information exclusively to:

• Provide voice-to-text transcription and AI rewriting services
• Store and sync your notes across devices
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send important account notifications
• Improve and maintain our services

To power Waver’s AI features, we send your data to the third-party services listed below. You can switch AI off at any time in Settings → Dictation → Your data, and nothing is sent while it is off. Nothing is ever sent in the background: audio leaves your device only when you stop a recording, and text only when you press an AI action.

Your data is never used to train any AI model. All transmissions use TLS encryption. You can switch AI off at any time in Settings, and you can delete your account to remove all stored notes.

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Payment processing through Lemon Squeezy (for subscription management)
• AI service providers (for transcription and text processing only)
• When required by law or legal process

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Export your notes at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently
• Opt out of non-essential communications

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data (notes, recordings, settings, and personal information) is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

Waver is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
