For teams

Everyone can start today. The shared parts are still being built.

Every person on your team can be dictating, recording meetings and turning rambles into sendable text this afternoon — on the free tier, without a card. What does not exist yet is the layer above that: one dictionary for the whole team, one snippet library, one invoice, one admin who sets the privacy floor. Those are marked Coming soon everywhere they appear on this page, and nowhere else.

Where we actually are

The whole roadmap, on one screen.

Most team pages bury the gaps in a comparison table three scrolls down. Here is the entire thing up front, because you are going to find out either way and it is cheaper for both of us if you find out now.

Capture

Unlimited transcription, 120+ languages

Auto-detected, returned in the native script. Free tier, no card.

Shipped

Meeting recorder — mic plus system audio

No bot joins the call. Speaker labels are applied after the meeting ends.

Shipped

Hold-to-talk Flow Bar

In-app on web and mobile; system-wide on the desktop build, so it works in any text field.

Shipped

Live translation and speaker separation

For calls that cross a language gap, and transcripts where who-said-what matters.

Shipped

Accuracy

Personal Dictionary

Add terms, pin the critical ones, and it learns from the corrections you make. Sent with the audio, not applied as find-and-replace after.

Shipped

Auto Cleanup, four levels

None, Light, Medium, High — plus a raw restore that shows what you actually said.

Shipped

One vocabulary for the whole team

A dictionary an admin curates once and every seat inherits. Designed, not built.

Coming soon

Team-wide auto-learning

One person correcting a product name teaching it to everyone. Follows the shared dictionary.

Coming soon

Output

Transforms

Polish, Prompt engineer, Make it shorter, Turn into a reply — plus your own custom transforms.

Shipped

Snippets

Speak a cue, it expands. Per person today.

Shipped

AI chat across your notes

Ask a question of everything you have recorded, not one note at a time.

Shipped

Shared snippet library

The team's boilerplate — same cue, same expansion, on everyone's account.

Coming soon

Administration

Privacy Mode and Cloud Sync

Two independent toggles, set per person in settings. Both on the private setting means zero retention.

Shipped

Admin controls for those two toggles

Set the floor for the organisation; a person may go stricter, never looser.

Coming soon

Shared billing on one invoice

Today each person subscribes on their own card and expenses it. Planned; the clumsiest gap on this list.

Coming soon

Seat management and SSO

Not designed yet. If your rollout depends on it, tell us — that is how it gets prioritised.

Coming soon

Live for every seat, right now

What your team gets on day one.

All of it is per-person today — which is less of a limitation than it sounds, because none of it needs a rollout, an admin, or a meeting about the rollout. One person can prove it works on a Tuesday afternoon.

Talk instead of type

Hold the Flow Bar, speak, let go. On the desktop build it works system-wide — the same key in your editor, your ticket queue and your email client.

Cleanup with a way back

Four levels of Auto Cleanup remove the ums and the false starts. The raw version is always one tap away, which is what makes the aggressive setting safe to use.

It learns your jargon

Add your product names and internal acronyms to the Personal Dictionary and pin the ones that must never be wrong. Correct it once and it remembers.

Rambles become replies

Turn into a reply, Make it shorter, Polish, Prompt engineer — or write your own transform for the format your team actually sends.

Meetings without a bot

Records the mic and the system audio from your own machine, so nothing joins the call wearing your company's name. Speaker labels arrive afterwards.

Snippets and spoken emoji

Speak a cue and the boilerplate expands. Say “fire emoji” and you get the flame, which sounds like a toy until you are writing your fortieth Slack message of the day.

The free tier is unlimited transcription, ten AI actions a month, no card and no ads. Premium starts at $4.13/month. There is no seat minimum because there are no seats — just accounts.

The team feature

Coming soon

One vocabulary, curated once.

Here is the thing that makes team dictation different from personal dictation: a team shares a private language. Product codenames, the customer whose name is spelled nothing like it sounds, the internal acronym that collides with a real English word. Every person on your team is currently teaching that vocabulary to their own copy, one correction at a time, and none of that work compounds.

The plan is the obvious one: an admin curates the list once, every account inherits it, and a correction anyone makes can be promoted to the shared set. It is the single team capability we think is genuinely worth waiting for, which is exactly why we are not pretending it is here.

Your own dictionary, and it learns

Shipped

Add a term, pin the ones that must never be wrong, and it picks up the corrections you make without being asked.

Sent with the audio

Shipped

The dictionary reaches the model along with the recording, so the term is heard correctly rather than swapped in afterwards by find-and-replace. That distinction is why it survives accents and half-swallowed syllables.

An admin-curated team list

Coming soon

One place to add the customer names and the codenames, inherited by every account on the team.

Corrections that compound

Coming soon

The fix one person makes on Monday becomes everyone's accuracy on Tuesday.

The other team feature

Coming soon

Say the cue. Get the paragraph.

Snippets already work: you speak a cue and the full text expands in place. They are per person today, which means the best-worded version of your refund policy lives on exactly one laptop and everyone else is improvising a slightly worse one.

A shared library fixes that without a style guide nobody reads — the wording your team agreed on is simply the wording that comes out. Support, sales and anyone who answers the same question forty times a week get the most out of it. Not built yet; the per-person version it builds on already works.

You sayIt writes
“standard refund line”The team's approved refund wording, verbatim, every time
“my booking link”The scheduling URL nobody can ever remember
“repro steps header”Environment, build, steps, expected, actual — the bug template
“sig block”Name, role, and the disclaimer legal asked for

Privacy, and who gets to decide it

Two switches. Today, each person owns both.

Privacy Mode and Cloud Sync are separate toggles on purpose. Coupling them would have been simpler to build and would have forced a false choice between having your notes on your phone and keeping them off a server.

Shipped

Privacy Mode

Independent of sync. With Privacy Mode on and Cloud Sync off, retention is zero — there is nothing kept to hand over, subpoena or leak.

Shipped

Cloud Sync

Off by choice, not by accident. Record on the phone and pick it up on the laptop when you want that; keep everything on one device when you do not.

Coming soon

Admin controls over both

The design we intend to build: an admin sets the organisation's floor and an individual may go stricter than it but never looser. So legal can require Privacy Mode for the whole company while the person handling the genuinely sensitive account can still turn sync off on top of that. Right now there is no admin layer at all — the settings live with each person, and enforcing a policy means asking people to flip two switches.

We hold no SOC 2, HIPAA or ISO certification and make no claim to. If your procurement requires one, we are not a fit today.

The sum, honestly

We can fill in one side of this. You have to fill in the other.

The cost side is arithmetic we can do for you, because the price is a fixed number: Premium from $4.13/month per person. Ten people is $41.30 a month. Fifty is $206.50. There is no enterprise multiplier waiting at the end of a sales call, because there is no sales call.

The savings side needs a number we do not have and will not invent: how long your team currently spends typing things it could have said. We have not measured that for your team, so any figure we printed here would be decoration. Time one person for a week, then multiply.

For most teams the cost line is small enough that the interesting question is not whether it pays back but whether people will use it — which is what the free tier is for.

Rolling it out

Four steps, none of which involve us.

There is no onboarding call, no implementation partner and no provisioning step, largely because there is no admin layer to provision. This is the honest version of a rollout plan for a product at this stage.

  1. 01

One person tries it on the free tier

Unlimited transcription, ten AI actions a month, no card. If it cannot handle your accents, your jargon and your meetings, you have learned that in an afternoon and spent nothing.

  2. 02

Pick the group that types the most

Support, sales, recruiting, anyone writing the same explanation repeatedly. Dictation pays back fastest where the writing is high-volume and low-ceremony, not where it is precious.

  3. 03

Everyone installs on what they already have

iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows. The one reason to install the desktop build is the system-wide Flow Bar, which is also the reason people keep using it.

  4. 04

Expense the subscriptions individually, for now

Each person subscribes on their own card and expenses it. It is genuinely the clumsy part and we are not going to dress it up; a single invoice is planned.

Shared billing on one invoiceComing soon

Conspicuously absent

Things you would normally find here.

A page like this usually carries a row of greyed-out company logos, a six-figure user count and a quote from a VP of Something. We do not have permission to show anyone's logo, we are not going to publish a number we cannot substantiate, and we have not written any testimonials for ourselves. The free tier exists so you can check our claims instead of trusting them.

  • Customer logos we were never given permission to use
  • A user count with no way to verify it
  • Testimonials attributed to people we made up
  • Compliance badges for audits we have not passed

Questions a buyer actually asks

The awkward ones first.

Is there a team or business plan I can buy today?

No. There is one Premium subscription, from $4.13/month, bought per person on that person's own card. Shared billing on a single invoice is planned, but it does not exist yet and we are not going to imply otherwise. Teams currently expense individual subscriptions.

Can I share a dictionary across the team?

Not yet. The Personal Dictionary is per account today — you add terms, pin the ones that matter, and it learns from your corrections. A shared team dictionary is the natural next step and it is designed, but it is not shipped.

Does a bot join our meetings?

No. The meeting recorder captures your microphone and your system audio from your own machine. Nobody on the call sees a participant called Waver Notetaker. Speaker labels are applied after the meeting rather than live. Telling the room it is being recorded is your responsibility, not the app's.

Can an admin enforce Privacy Mode or turn off Cloud Sync for everyone?

Not yet. Both are real, shipped toggles, and they are independent of each other — with both set to the private option, nothing is retained. But today each person sets them in their own settings. Admin enforcement is on the list.

Do you have SOC 2, HIPAA or ISO certification?

No. We have no compliance certifications and we are not going to put a badge on this page that we have not earned. If your procurement process requires one, we are not a fit today — tell us which one and it moves up the list.

How many companies use Waver?

We are not going to give you a number we cannot substantiate, and we do not publish customer logos or testimonials we have not been given permission to use. Judge the product on the free tier instead: unlimited transcription, no card, ad-free.

What does everyone need to install?

iPhone, iPad, Mac or Windows. The system-wide Flow Bar — hold a key anywhere and speak into whatever app is in front of you — needs the Mac or Windows build.
