Bots in your meeting

You sit through the meeting. Then you have to write the notes.

You know the drill. The call ends, three people log off, and you're staring at a blank doc trying to remember what was decided. Who agreed to what. When the deadline was.

Other meeting tools want a bot to join your call. That means asking permission, sharing a link, and explaining what the bot is to a client who's already nervous about being recorded.

Waver is different. There's no bot. You just record from your own computer — exactly the audio you'd hear if you took your headphones off — and the AI does the rest.

Three steps. That's it.

From the moment you click Stop, you have a polished summary in under a minute.

1

Open your meeting

Whatever you use — Zoom, Meet, Teams, FaceTime, Discord, or a phone call on speaker. Just open it like normal.

2

Click record in Waver

Pick what to capture: entire screen, one window, or a browser tab. Check 'Share audio' so other voices come through. Your mic gets recorded too.

3

Click stop. Done.

In about 30 seconds you have: a 2-line summary, a long summary, key decisions, action items with assignees, soundbites, speaker analytics, and a follow-up email.

What lands in your inbox after the call

Every meeting becomes a structured document you can actually use.

A 2-line summary

The kind you can paste into Slack with no edits. The whole meeting, distilled.

Action items with owners

Not 'somebody should follow up' — actual people, actual tasks, actual due dates, actual priority.

Decisions made

Every yes/no decision, with the reason behind it. Searchable across all your meetings.

Soundbites worth sharing

The 3-6 most quotable moments, attributed to the speaker, ready to post or quote later.

Talk-time analytics

Who spoke for how long. How many questions each person asked. Sentiment per speaker.

A draft follow-up email

Subject line, greeting, summary, action items — written in a tone that sounds like you. Copy and send.

Open questions

Things raised but not answered. So nothing falls through the cracks for next time.

Topics covered

Auto-tagged topics with how long each was discussed. Great for sales calls and customer interviews.

Live transcription. Floating window. While you're still in the meeting.

You don't have to wait until the call is over to start getting value. Words appear in real time as people speak. Pop out a tiny floating window and keep it on top — like a teleprompter for what was just said.

Live transcript

Words appear as they're spoken — useful for catching something you missed or for accessibility.

Floating window mode

One click to detach a small overlay that stays visible above all your other apps. Close Waver itself if you want — recording continues.

Live AI insights

Every minute, a one-line summary of what was just discussed. So if someone asks 'what did we decide?' you can see it.

Bookmark moments

Mark a timestamp anytime — those marked moments show up as soundbites in your final notes.

Common questions

Do I need to install anything?+
No. Waver runs entirely in your browser. There's nothing to download for the web app. We also have iOS and Android apps if you prefer mobile.
Will the other people in the call know they're being recorded?+
That's between you and them. Waver records on your computer — there's no bot joining the call to give it away. We strongly encourage telling everyone you're recording, both as a courtesy and because most jurisdictions require consent. Many of them require all parties to consent. Know your local law.
Does it work for Zoom desktop, not just Zoom in the browser?+
Yes. When you start a recording, choose 'Entire screen' as the share mode. That captures audio from any application running on your computer — Zoom desktop, Teams desktop, FaceTime, Discord, anything.
What languages does it support?+
125+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Tamil, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, and most major and minor world languages. Transcription works in any of them.
How long can a meeting be?+
On the free plan, 5 minutes per recording. On premium, 15 minutes per recording — and you can record multiple back-to-back. Longer files can be uploaded directly through the Upload tab.
Where is my audio stored?+
Audio is processed and then stored securely. Your meeting transcripts and analyses live in your account. You can delete any meeting at any time and the audio goes with it. We never share your meeting data with anyone.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your subscription page in one click. Your premium remains active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

The next meeting starts in 20 minutes.
